Background: The BTA guidelines for the use of thyroid function tests recommend the measurement of TSH receptor antibodies (TRAb) when investigating hyperthyroidism of uncertain aetiology, in suspected GravesÂ’ ophthalmopathy and in pregnant women with GravesÂ’ disease.
